PUMPKIN PATCH: MOONBREAKER hits screens October 17 as Magic Engine showcases a proven approach to feature-length generative moviemaking
LOS ANGELES, CA—October 5, 2026—Magic Engine Studios has confirmed that Pumpkin Patch: MOONBREAKER will make its global debut on October 17, representing the studio’s sixth complete generative feature to hit the market within a 15-month span.
Brian James Gage handled writing and directing duties for the 90-minute production, which moved through the Magic Engine workflow. Principal photography commenced in mid-July and concluded on October 3, adding to a schedule centered on continuous, full-scale generative film output.
“Turning out six complete movies in 15 months goes beyond demonstrating a concept—it establishes a working methodology,” said Debbi Berlin, CEO and co-founder of Magic Engine Studios. “MOONBREAKER proves once again that we can move a feature from initial idea through production and out to audiences on a consistent basis. What matters most isn’t just producing another generative film. It’s having created an infrastructure that makes repetition possible.”
Pumpkin Patch: MOONBREAKER will debut as part of a Halloween-themed double bill on the Alchemy Streaming Network, which streams via Apple TV and Roku. The evening kicks off at 6:00 PM PST with a special screening of the original 2025 Pumpkin Patch, and at 7:00 PM PST the world premiere of Pumpkin Patch: MOONBREAKER will follow.
The premiere runs alongside the Blu-ray launch of MOONBREAKER, giving the title availability beyond its initial streaming run.
Magic Engine’s momentum carries forward with Red Nose 3: SILENT NIGHTFALL, slated for a December 2026 release. That arrival will push the studio’s total to seven original full-length generative productions developed from start to commercial availability in just 18 months.
This expanding catalog feeds into Magic Engine’s wider plan to build lasting entertainment franchises spanning streaming, physical formats, audio releases, branded goods, and additional distribution avenues. The studio is assembling a library of titles and series intended to connect with viewers well past their debut.
