Steve Stanulis headlines the John Bianco-directed project, with filming set to kick off November 30 across New Jersey
HOLMDEL, NJ, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The cast of Lazarus Syndrome, a fresh thriller under the direction of John Bianco and backed by Stanulis Films, now includes Tara Reid, Sofia Milos, Al Sapienza, and former WWE competitor Daria Berenato.
Steve Stanulis leads the cast, with Frankie G and Max B also on board—the latter additionally handling the film’s score. Shooting is slated to start November 30 at various spots in New Jersey, with more casting news expected down the line.
The story centers on a detective who barely survives a drug raid gone wrong. In the aftermath, he deals with strange shifts like sharper instincts, fragmented recollections, and an uneasy feeling that his survival carried a hidden price.
This part brings Stanulis back to the kind of crime-heavy material he understands from personal experience. Prior to his acting and producing career, Stanulis spent time as an NYPD officer and later moved into private security. His past credits include appearances on The Sopranos and HBO’s The Deuce, and his output via Stanulis Films has leaned toward crime narratives, dark humor, and indie films driven by complex characters.
“Lazarus Syndrome brings together a dynamic cast with range and presence,” said Armand Peri of New Age PR Agency. “Steve’s real-world background gives him a unique connection to this material, and with John Bianco directing, we believe the film has all the ingredients for a gripping, unpredictable thriller.”
Further casting details and production updates are planned for release later.
