VRE7 TV is flipping the red-carpet script: after more than a decade of pointing cameras at celebrities, the independent network is now turning those cameras toward the people watching at home. The company announced the VRE7 Contributor Network, an open casting call inviting fans, digital creators, and industry professionals to appear in its upcoming VRE7 Front Row documentary series.
Founded in 2008, VRE7 TV has built its name covering celebrity interviews, red-carpet arrivals, and film premieres. Now, with Front Row, the network is blending its existing archive with fresh, on-camera reactions from everyday viewers. The series is described as a virtual, street-style interview format, with each episode centered on a single celebrity — an artist, actor, or other public figure — and weaving together contributors’ personal memories, opinions, and professional insights alongside VRE7’s own red-carpet interviews and shout-outs, including newly captured footage as it becomes available.
“We’ve spent years on red carpets talking with celebrities, and the audience is the most important part of that story,” said KJ Anderson, founder and executive producer of VRE7 TV. “Front Row puts fans and industry voices in the conversation. Whether you record on a professional setup or just your phone, we want to hear what these artists and their work meant to you.”
The call is open to a wide range of participants — not just superfans but also actors, musicians, filmmakers, and other digital creators. Those interested join a casting roster, and when an episode enters production, they receive a notification naming the featured celebrity along with a set of prompts to answer in a short video submission. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and must agree to the Contributor Terms and Release. The program is unpaid, and there is no guarantee of selection.
VRE7 TV’s extensive archive is managed and licensed through its footage division, Media Film Access. The vault spans nearly two decades of Hollywood events, featuring exclusive red-carpet interviews and shout-outs with notable names including rapper 50 Cent, musicians Tinashe and Debbie Gibson, Garcelle Beauvais of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and Lisa D’Amato, the America’s Next Top Model: All-Stars winner who later appeared on Shark Tank.
Those ready to step in front of the lens can apply to the VRE7 Front Row casting call here. Publicists, talent managers, and event organizers are also encouraged to reach out about potential virtual or in-person celebrity interviews, press junket opportunities, and coverage of red carpets and movie premieres.

Why it matters: This initiative signals a shift in how entertainment media engages its audience — transforming passive viewers into active participants in the storytelling process. By democratizing access to celebrity culture, VRE7 TV is testing a new model where fan perspective carries as much weight as the star interview itself.
