NAKANO-KU, TOKYO, JAPAN, October 20, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Toei Animation Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President: Katsuhiro Takagi), in collaboration with Sony Group Corporation, will open ONE PIECE MUGIWARA STORE Los Angeles, an official merchandise store for the globally popular anime series ONE PIECE, on Friday, November 6, 2026.
The story of One Piece began with creator Eiichiro Oda, whose manga first appeared on July 22, 1997, in issue 34 of Weekly Shonen Jump, a leading manga publication. The series reached a milestone of 25 years of continuous publication in July 2022.
The anime adaptation made its television debut in 1999 on Japan’s Fuji TV network and marked its own 25th anniversary in 2024. Between April and September 2026, the new “Elbaph Arc” aired, keeping the series at the forefront of fan conversations around the globe.
Now, ONE PIECE MUGIWARA STORE, which holds the distinction of being the largest official ONE PIECE merchandise store, is making its first-ever move into the U.S. market. ONE PIECE MUGIWARA STORE Los Angeles will officially open its doors at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles on November 6, 2026.

For the first week of operation, from November 6 through November 12, advance reservations will be mandatory for store entry. Reservations open on Thursday, October 22 at 6:00 PM (PT). Fans are asked to book their slots through the “Reserve Priority Entry” area on the official website. Keep in mind that the dates requiring reservations could shift, so the company advises checking official social media channels for the most current updates.
Shoppers at ONE PIECE MUGIWARA STORE Los Angeles can expect a broad selection of goods, from items that are exclusive to this specific location to products showcasing original animation artwork.
Inside the store, visitors will also have access to original video content that can only be viewed there. And there’s a chance fans might cross paths with Luffy and his crew during their shopping trip.
To mark the grand opening, a limited batch of commemorative shopping bags will be handed out to customers.
The retail space is designed with interactive elements to elevate the shopping experience. A character called “Surfer Chopper,” created exclusively for the Los Angeles store, will interact with visitors as they browse. Additionally, wanted posters of various ONE PIECE characters will be displayed throughout the store, giving fans more surprises to uncover.
These are experiences best enjoyed in person.
The store is intended to serve as a dedicated space where visitors can shop while feeling fully immersed in the world of ONE PIECE, with a design that encourages repeat visits.
