Bamboo Parlour thriller opens registration lists for Ocho Rios guests, advisors

With Jamaica’s tourism scene increasingly hungry for experiences that go beyond the typical beach day, an upcoming attraction in Ocho Rios is positioning itself as something altogether different: a story you don’t just watch, but enter. The Bamboo Parlour Secret: The Final Dinner has now opened interest registration for both travelers and the travel advisors who guide them, signaling a launch that could arrive before the year is out.

Jamaica’s upcoming immersive island thriller invites travelers to register for first-session news and travel advisors to receive trade and launch information.

The concept is rooted in a fictional island parlour that went silent nearly a century ago. Guests are drawn into a world of faded hospitality, unresolved questions, and secrets waiting to surface. Through live performance, atmospheric sound and lighting, and interactive discovery, each participant becomes an active piece of the unfolding mystery.

The experience runs approximately 45 minutes and is tailored for private groups of two to six guests, aged 12 and up. Since each booking keeps the party together, it’s positioned as an option for couples, friends, and families with teenagers who want to add something distinctive to their Jamaica trip.

“We want visitors to do more than watch a story. At the Bamboo Parlour, they step inside it, explore it together and become part of the mystery,” said Addison Jaynes, founder of The Bamboo Parlour Secret: The Final Dinner.

The attraction blends immersive theatre with environmental mystery and hands-on exploration. Its setting and narrative place guests directly in the middle of the action, with clues to uncover together as the experience unfolds. Despite the name, no meal is served — the dinner itself is part of the storyline, not the actual offering.

Situated on DaCosta Drive in Ocho Rios, the venue is preparing to welcome both international visitors and Jamaican residents. All sessions will require advance online reservations. While no opening date has been officially confirmed, the expected window is late November or early December.

Travelers can sign up for the guest interest list at thefinaldinner.com to receive an email once the first sessions go live.

Travel advisors, meanwhile, are directed to the dedicated advisor registration option on the same site. The planned trade information includes net and commissionable rates, an agent-code programme, and launch dates that will be shared ahead of the public release. Pre-registering allows advisors to get those details early as they craft recommendations for clients bound for Jamaica.

The website also includes registration pathways for media and content creators interested in future coverage and preview opportunities.

Behind the scenes, hiring is underway for the Keeper of the Parlour, the attraction’s supervisor role. Advance applications are also being accepted for upcoming Parlour Storykeeper actor and game-master positions. Job descriptions and application forms are available through the careers page.
