About the author
The debut author is a native of Houston. Before turning to writing, she enjoyed a successful and fulfilling nursing career. After 40 years in nursing, she retired and was able to pursue her passion for writing. Her other interests include painting, crafts, football, and fishing. Because this is her first novel, it is set in the city she loves—Houston—which provides a comfortable, familiar backdrop for her work. Houston will feature prominently as the setting for future projects as well.
Neva is supported greatly by her wife, Sharron, and their loyal Cockapoo, Snowball.
