A multi-city talent hunt covering Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai seeks to identify AI-native writers and directors while shaping the trajectory of AI-driven storytelling.
MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA, August 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — EROS Universe has introduced India’s Biggest AI Creator Audition, a talent discovery initiative spanning the country to find AI-native writers and directors capable of crafting cinematic narratives with generative AI.
The event, held across four cities—Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai—brings together creators for a one-day AI filmmaking challenge that also functions as a hiring drive. Through this effort, EROS Universe aims to recruit 15 AI Writers and 20-25 AI Directors, while also extending project-based assignments, retainer deals, and final interview opportunities to standout participants.

During the competition, participants must produce a 90-120 second AI-generated microfilm within a six-hour timeframe. The theme and genre of the story will only be disclosed at the event’s start. Entries must rely entirely on AI-generated visuals and audio, with no real-life characters or copyrighted content allowed. Only individual participants are eligible.
Submissions will be judged based on storytelling, creativity, visual quality, cinematic execution, AI prompting workflows, editing, and pacing. EROS Universe will provide participants with AI tool credits, and shortlisted films will be screened before the jury announces the winners.
The AI Creator Audition kicks off in Mumbai on August 7, followed by Hyderabad on August 16, Bengaluru on September 4, and Chennai on September 12. Registration is open now with a participation fee of ₹99.
