Freestyle Digital Media, which handles digital film distribution for Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, has announced the availability of the documentary film ISKY — it is now accessible worldwide on digital HD internet, DVD, cable, and satellite platforms starting October 2, 2026.
The film focuses on Ed “Isky” Iskenderian, a legendary trailblazer in hot rodding, drag racing, land speed racing, and NASCAR. He helped forge not only new heights of motorsport competition but an entire cultural shift. Recognized as a pioneer, engineering visionary, and promotional mastermind, Isky is regarded as the most impactful person in American automotive performance engineering history. His cigar and smile are iconic around the globe. Today, Isky’s influence continues to shape international motorsports and automotive culture worldwide. His advertising collaboration with drag‑racing icon Don Garlits firmly established the modern blueprint for corporate sports sponsorship.
Observing Isky’s life captures the essence of American ingenuity. He revolutionized camshaft design and, in the process, reshaped American culture. He transformed a garage pastime into a $100 billion industry and changed the entire country through a genuine American automotive cultural revolution that persists today. Always a champion of the human spirit, and driven by his unmatched enthusiasm, curiosity, and promotional talent, Isky turned a fragmented “hot rodder” hobby into a professionally acknowledged community. For the first time under his leadership, racers, builders, and manufacturers shared a national platform.
Written and directed by Cheyanne Kane, ISKY was produced by Kerry Ann Enright and Cheyanne Kane. Dr. Jeffrey William Laham and Dave Smith serve as executive producers. Battiste Fenwick is the director of photography, Marty Beller composed the music, and Guy Shaham edited the film.
