The ITTV International Forum and TechInEntertainment are making October a defining month for their global platform, with three distinct events scheduled across Los Angeles that signal how far the organization has evolved from its origins as a single annual conference. The eighth edition of ITTV and the fourth edition of TechInEntertainment will bring together leaders from entertainment, media, technology, advertising, and culture in settings ranging from an intimate dinner to a public panel at a cultural institution.

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, October 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The month kicks off with a milestone for ITTV: for the first time, the organization will host an event at the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles, broadening its focus beyond business trends to examine the cultural bonds that continue linking Hollywood and Italy. The October schedule also features an invitation-only industry dinner and a conversation co-presented with BAIA L.A. and the Geena Davis Institute, assembling prominent voices across entertainment, media, advertising, technology, and the creative industries.
These Los Angeles gatherings reflect the strategic shift ITTV announced last year, when it moved from a single annual conference to an international platform hosting conversations throughout the year. Since that transition, the organization has steadily grown both its programming and its community of participants.
“The entertainment industry is constantly changing and innovating, and that evolution requires an ongoing conversation. At the same time, the challenges facing our business continue to multiply,” said Valentina Martelli, Founder and CEO of the ITTV International Forum & TechInEntertainment.
“Audiences are no longer passive observers. Increasingly, they are active members of communities that want to understand, participate and feel connected to the stories and experiences being created for them. Events allow us to open the industry conversation to those communities while keeping the focus on what makes entertainment truly meaningful. We have always believed in the power of collaboration, and this year we have strengthened that commitment through new partnerships that bring together different organizations, industries and communities. In a world increasingly shaped by AI, we believe more than ever in the power of human connection.”
The October lineup begins on October 21 with The ITTV Leaders’ Table, a private, invitation-only dinner designed for a select group of executives, including several panelists from previous ITTV editions. The evening serves as an intimate chance to reconnect and sustain the professional relationships built through the forum, and it will also feature Portofino Days International Fiction Fest. “Portofino Days was created to build a strong and direct bridge between the excellence of our region and the leading players in the global audiovisual industry,” said Cristina Bolla, President of the Genova Liguria Film Commission and Director of Portofino Days.
“Presenting our fourth edition in Los Angeles with our friends and partners at ITTV is strategically important. It positions Liguria not only as a unique filming destination, but also as a dynamic and welcoming hub for international productions.” The evening is supported by Ferrarini USA and Gelati Sammontana, with Insurgence and Insurgence Studios serving as notable partners.
On October 22, ITTV makes its debut at the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles with Under the Italian Spell: Why Hollywood Keeps Falling in Love with the Italian Language. Held within the Week of the Italian Language in the World, the panel brings together actor David Giuntoli, producer Jill Gillett, and UTA agent Charles Ferraro. The discussion will delve into the lasting appeal of Italian across global creative industries—a language long tied to music, cinema, art, and heritage, and one whose influence now reaches far beyond Italy, drawing in actors, producers, executives, and storytellers with personal or professional ties to the country. Valentina Martelli will moderate the conversation.
On October 29 at Casa Violetta, ITTV partners with BAIA L.A. and the Geena Davis Institute for a conversation on advertising’s shifting role at the crossroads of entertainment, culture, technology, and business. The evening features Madeline Di Nonno, President and CEO of the Geena Davis Institute, a leading researcher on media representation, who will present the Institute’s latest findings on global advertising.
These three events cap a year of expanded activity for ITTV and TechInEntertainment. The 2026 program has already included a networking evening for women executives in Hollywood; the first Ferragosto celebration, co-presented with the Little Italy of Los Angeles Association and open to the community, during which ITTV received special recognition from the City of Los Angeles; and two panels at the Venice International Film Festival. Those Venice discussions focused on forces reshaping intellectual property and storytelling: the impact of hybrid AI and the creator economy on next-generation entertainment, and the Amazon MGM Studios model for turning books and established IP into global screen productions.
Founded by Valentina Martelli and Cristina Scognamillo, the ITTV International Forum and TechInEntertainment have connected Hollywood with international executives, creators, innovators, and decision-makers since 2019, examining the ideas and transformations shaping the industry’s future.

Why it matters: ITTV’s expansion into multiple Los Angeles events signals a broader industry shift toward year-round, community-driven conversation rather than one-off conferences. As AI reshapes entertainment, these gatherings emphasize the human connections and cultural exchange that remain central to the business.
