Ever since its 2003 debut, “Love Actually” has evolved into a modern holiday staple, admired for its impressive ensemble cast, endlessly quotable lines, and its tender depictions of love in its many shapes. Penned and directed by Richard Curtis, “Love Actually” follows ten distinct yet overlapping love stories set during the Christmas season, featuring a range of characters, many of whom are connected as the narrative unfolds. The cast includes Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Laura Linney, Bill Nighy, Martine McCutcheon, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, Rowan Atkinson, Martin Freeman, and numerous others.
“LOVE ACTUALLY IN CONCERT turns a modern Christmas classic into a shared, heartwarming, and joy-filled celebration, ideal for fans, families, and everyone who believes love, actually, is everywhere,” remarked Floris Douwes, Producer and Managing Director at GEA Live.
Over the last twenty years, “Love Actually” has cultivated a worldwide, multi-generational following and become a yearly holiday viewing ritual for countless people. Its adored characters, memorable music, and emotional narratives have solidified the film’s status as a contemporary Christmas favorite. The movie’s composer, Golden Globe®, BAFTA® and Emmy®-winning Craig Armstrong OBE, stands as a highly influential figure in modern film music, recognized for his work on “Moulin Rouge!,” “Me Before You,” “Elizabeth: The Golden Age,” and other projects.
