‘Showing Up As Myself’ was produced by three-time Grammy® Award winner, Lonnie Park.

Christine Ghilino and I were in a band called the Party Dolls and used to sing it for fun! I found a demo of us goofing around and decided it needed to be recorded properly so others could hear it!”— Lisa CoppolaSOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ, UNITED STATES, July 22, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Any Other Name Music has announced the launch of Lisa Coppola’s newest single, “Ooh Baby Baby,” along with the forthcoming album, ‘Showing Up As Myself,’ scheduled for an August 8 release!

Coppola’s rendition of “Ooh Baby Baby” includes guest vocalists Christine Ghilino and Carmen Nardone, highlighting themes of friendship, vulnerability, and the timeless appeal of tight harmonies. Coppola toured alongside Ghilino as part of the well-known show band The Party Dolls and later shared the stage with Nardone in Ladies of the 80s. She refers to those years on stage as “harmony boot camp,” a valuable experience that forged both the trio’s vocal synergy and their lasting friendships. Penned by William “Smokey” Robinson and Warren “Pete” Moore, “Ooh Baby Baby” has previously been recorded by Linda Ronstadt (in 1978) and Aretha Franklin (in 1973). This track stands as the sole cover on the forthcoming album.

‘Showing Up As Myself’ arrives on August 8, 2026. The five-track project, helmed by multi-GRAMMY®-winning producer Lonnie Park, is built on a principle increasingly rare in today’s music scene: the music is entirely AI-free. Every lyric, melody, vocal, instrumental performance, and production choice was made by human artists working collaboratively. At the heart of the album is Coppola’s voice—expressive, nuanced, and emotionally raw. Throughout the five songs, she delves into themes of possibility, love, presence, nostalgia, and vulnerability, contemplating what it means to stay true to oneself amid change. The album’s second single, “Take Me Higher,” is currently receiving airplay worldwide on AAA and Americana radio stations across the United States and the United Kingdom.

Lisa Coppola is an Americana/AAA/Adult Contemporary artist whose work centers on connection, resilience, and genuine self-expression. She has earned international recognition, including chart success with “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) – Remix 2024,” which climbed to #10 on the iTunes UK Overall Chart, #1 on the UK Easy Listening Chart, and #1 on the Portugal Overall Albums Chart. She also secured the #1 spot on the iTunes World Music Chart as part of Amy McAllister’s Power of One Movement, which later won Best Music Group at the 2024 World Entertainment Awards. Furthermore, Coppola charted at #8 on the Billboard Blues Albums Chart as a member of Oliver Sean’s Real Indie Project, and her single “Simon’s Kiss” broke into the Top 40 on the U.S. iTunes Rock Chart. A two-time Josie Music Award winner and longtime Recording Academy voting member, Coppola continues to gain momentum with her signature blend of powerful vocals, emotional storytelling, and message-driven artistry.

You can stream “Ooh Baby Baby” on all major platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, and TIDAL. You can also pre-order the album on Amazon now! For further details about Lisa Coppola, visit www.LisaCoppola.com.
