He was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, where he attended local schools while cultivating a strong passion for television and movies. While pursuing that ambition, Dios Mar was given a chance to work behind the camera—serving as an Executive Producer (EP) of the upcoming thriller film HD.
The film will be directed by acclaimed actor JD Williams, recognized for his performances in HBO’s The Wire and Oz, as well as Starz’s BMF, together with businessman and executive producer Maurice Nash. The lead role is played by Corey Clark, who first gained national fame as a contestant on American Idol in 2003. For Dios Mar, this opportunity marks a major expansion of his role in the entertainment industry. Instead of only pursuing his goals as a young actor, he is now gaining direct experience in film production and collaborating with established industry professionals.
