SUNNY SIDE COMEDY FUN currently produces and shares 15 original comedy videos each week across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook. Those six feature films will emerge from the characters and comedic series already being crafted and posted online.

The plan is simple: gather the viewers first, then create the movies.
"We want to identify the people who enjoy what we’re doing right now and give them a reason to stick with us into our feature films," says Allard. "Whether they end up watching them in theaters, buying them online, or streaming them, we want the audience to already recognize the type of comedy SUNNY SIDE COMEDY FUN delivers."
SIX FILMS IN DEVELOPMENT
Four of the six features will be live-action, SAG-approved ultra-low-budget comedic fantasies, each with a $250,000 budget.
The films are built for efficient production: a single location, a three-week shoot, one to three main actors plus multiple day players. Two cameras will capture performances at the pace comedy demands, while a seasoned post-production crew can resolve—and even enhance—story and performance issues during editing.
"SUNNY SIDE COMEDY FUN is a collective overflowing with experienced film professionals who are ready for a fast-moving shoot with limited takes and maximum fun," says Allard. "The goal isn't simply to make the films inexpensively. It's to use the limitations to make them more inventive, surprising and funny."
The two animated features will use current video-manipulation and animation tools to produce 70-minute comedy fantasies while maintaining the project's ultra-low-budget philosophy.
