THE SIMON & GARFUNKEL STORY TOUR RETURNS TO CELEBRATE THE MUSIC THAT DEFINED A GENERATION

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Following its global success, The Simon & Garfunkel Story (www.thesimonandgarfunkelstory.com) is set to make a triumphant return with a sweeping North American tour in 2027, hitting more than 50 cities. Ruckus Entertainment, the producers behind the show, announced today that the critically acclaimed production will be heading back to beloved venues as well as venturing into fresh markets throughout the U.S. and Canada. Kicking off on February 7, 2027 at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium in Thunder Bay, Ontario, the tour also features a notable five-show run from April 30 to May 2 at the iconic Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles.

“The enthusiasm for this production has been extraordinary, and mounting such an extensive national tour again underscores the enduring appeal of Simon & Garfunkel’s music,” said Dean Elliott, the show’s creator and director. “These songs have the power to energize an entire theatre in an instant and then hush the crowd into utter silence the next. We’re thrilled to revisit the cities that have shown us so much support while also bringing this experience to audiences in numerous new locations nationwide.”

It’s not just fans who have been amazed by The Simon & Garfunkel Story. Art Garfunkel himself once attended a performance, made his way to the stage, took the microphone, and exclaimed, “What a great f—— show!” leaving the audience utterly astonished once more. When the legend himself offers such praise, it’s clear this is a tour that shouldn’t be missed.

The production traces the duo’s early days as Tom & Jerry, their meteoric rise as one of the top-selling acts of the ’60s, and their dramatic split in 1970, all leading up to the legendary 1981 Concert in Central Park reunion, which drew over half a million attendees.

With a lineup of nearly 30 beloved tracks, the show blends live music with photographs, video projections, and archival film footage. Audiences can expect to hear timeless hits like “Mrs. Robinson,” “Cecilia,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Homeward Bound,” and numerous others, all delivered with the signature harmonies that established Simon & Garfunkel as one of the most iconic duos in music history.

Having sold over 100 million albums worldwide, claimed 10 GRAMMY Awards, been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, Simon & Garfunkel’s lasting legacy continues to inspire new generations, cementing their status among the most influential artists ever.
