Dynamic Multiview opens up new possibilities for how live content can be presented and consumed”— Brad Winett, President of TrackItLOS ANGELES , CA, UNITED STATES, September 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — TrackIt has announced that TrackFlix is now leveraging AWS Elemental MediaPackage Dynamic Multiview to allow media organizations to build dynamic multi-view streaming experiences from several live video feeds. TrackFlix represents TrackIt's open-source collection of cloud-native media workflow tools created for the Media & Entertainment sector.
With AWS Elemental MediaPackage Dynamic Multiview, streaming platforms can dynamically combine multiple live streams into one adaptive bitrate stream. This functionality supports applications such as multi-angle sports coverage, viewing several games at once, geo-targeted broadcasts, and picture-in-picture experiences. Rather than requiring separate pre-encoded streams for every potential camera angle configuration, Dynamic Multiview assembles requested views on demand within the compressed domain.
In contrast to conventional server-side compositing methods, Dynamic Multiview does not involve decoding and re-encoding every possible combination of source feeds. Each source gets encoded once, while MediaPackage combines the requested feeds as needed. The resulting multi-view stream is delivered using standard HLS, enabling playback on devices that support H.264 decoding without the need for a custom player.
“Dynamic Multiview opens up new possibilities for how live content can be presented and consumed,” said Brad Winett, President of TrackIt. “By bringing support for the capability into TrackFlix, media organizations can explore multi-camera and multi-stream experiences within a familiar cloud-based media workflow, without having to build a separate compositing architecture.”
The TrackFlix integration is intended to showcase how Dynamic Multiview can support live media workflows where viewers desire greater control over the content they watch. For sports and live events, this can involve combining multiple camera angles from the same event or presenting several independent games in a single viewing experience. Dynamic Multiview supports layouts ranging from two-view displays to four-view grids and arrangements that feature a larger primary view alongside secondary feeds.
At IBC 2026 in September, TrackIt will demonstrate how TrackFlix utilizes Dynamic Multiview in a live presentation, emphasizing its potential for multi-angle sports and other live media experiences.
