LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, August 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Luxury adventure travel firm True Summit Adventures has unveiled a fresh Everest Base Camp experience featuring Kami Rita Sherpa, set to coincide with his upcoming bid to add to his unparalleled record of 32 ascents of Mount Everest.
Planned for the 2027 Everest climbing period, the program allows participants to trek alongside Kami Rita on the route to Base Camp before he proceeds with his own summit mission on the planet’s tallest peak.
Kami Rita is widely hailed as one of mountaineering’s finest figures. A national hero in Nepal, he has topped Mount Everest more often than any other climber in history and remains a key figure in the yearly Everest climbing season.
The trip kicks off in Kathmandu with a stay at Dwarika’s Hotel, followed by a helicopter transfer to Lukla. From there, guests follow the traditional Everest Base Camp trail through the Khumbu Valley in Kami Rita’s company, stopping at carefully chosen lodges such as Hotel Everest View. The experience finishes with an overnight stay at Kami Rita’s expedition camp at Everest Base Camp, after which guests return to Kathmandu via helicopter.
