Novelist and filmmaker Vivian Schilling has been presented the World Culture Award by UNESCO President Ioannis Maronitis.
Parkinson earned the honor for his lifelong achievements in cinema, while Schilling was acknowledged for her literary contributions to global culture.

Eric Parkinson, Chief Executive Officer of Hannover House (OTC: HHSE), received the award for his lifetime of work in producing and distributing quality feature films. Also honored was Vivian Schilling, a filmmaker and bestselling author, recognized for her contributions to World Culture via Literature.
Parkinson has been involved in feature film production and distribution for more than four decades. His first number‑one U.S. release came in 1984 with “Summer Olympic Highlights,” a documentary created alongside ABC Sports. Since then, Parkinson has overseen the distribution of over 1,500 movies—including multiple Academy Award winners—and has produced more than seventy films, most recently the popular streaming title “WILDFIRE: The Legend of the Cherokee Ghost Horse.”
Vivian Schilling has built a successful career across numerous facets of the entertainment business, from acting to writing, directing, and producing films. Her UNESCO recognition stems from her critically acclaimed, best‑selling novels “SACRED PREY” (St. Martin’s Press) and “QUIEUTUS” (Penguin‑Putnam Group).

Both Parkinson and Schilling are currently in Greece, preparing for the preproduction of a major thriller feature directed by Giorgos Papatheodorou. The upcoming film is based on the true story of the secretive 17N group, whose operations aimed to focus global attention on political injustice in Greece. The movie is slated to begin full production this year, with several top actors pursuing roles and aspirations set on Academy Award recognition.
