Electronic components laid out on a table

A New Jersey indie studio is trying to prove that artificial intelligence can sustain a full streaming slate, not just a one-off experiment.

MONROE TWP, NJ, UNITED STATES, October 23, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — MyTi Films, an independently operated streaming platform dedicated to original AI-generated series and films, has locked in a November 20, 2026 premiere date for its first title, Medusa. Those who sign up for the platform’s free membership tier get a head start, with early access beginning November 13.

The Medusa launch kicks off an ambitious rollout: eight original titles spread across eight months. The announced lineup includes reimagined Greek legends, detective thrillers, and Hindi-language stories rooted in ancient narratives. The platform itself went live in October 2026 and can be accessed at https://MyTiFilms.com.

At the core of MyTi Films’ strategy is an exclusive license to adapt the River Comics universe, a catalog boasting more than 30 original comic titles. The company’s model combines AI-assisted production with its own streaming destination and a licensed story library earmarked for future adaptation.

“AI didn’t just lower the cost of making films, it broke the assumption that you need a studio to run a slate. We’re building a platform around a pipeline of stories and giving viewers a place to watch the work,” said Jai Thakar, producer of MyTi Films.

Transparency is baked into the brand, according to the company, which says it labels AI-generated content on both posters and films. The goal, per MyTi Films, is to create a single destination for AI-curious viewers and fans of science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, mythology, and international storytelling.

The service remains free to watch, and free members get a seven-day window on every premiere before it goes public. Following Medusa, the next confirmed release is Master Holmes, slated for December 20, 2026.

Why it matters: MyTi Films is positioning itself as a test case for whether AI-generated entertainment can move beyond novelty and sustain a regular release calendar. If its eight-title slate holds up, it could signal a shift in how independent producers approach both content creation and distribution, challenging the traditional studio-gated model.
