Greg Maurice and pastor Stephon Chaney launch ARK CLB for faith-based multicultural media

The entertainment industry’s growing appetite for faith-based content has a new player, and it’s arriving with a distinctly multicultural focus. Veteran film executive Greg Maurice and pastor Stephon Chaney are joining forces to launch ARK CLB, a company built to serve audiences who have long felt overlooked by premium faith-centered storytelling.

New media company will acquire, finance, produce & distribute films & television while building a pipeline of faith-forward stories from multicultural creators

"The most valuable asset I've built isn't a catalog of films or licensing deals, it's trust. Trust from filmmakers who believed I'd fight for their stories.”— Greg MauriceATLANTA, GA, UNITED STATES, October 28, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Greg Maurice, a seasoned acquisition and distribution executive, and Stephon Chaney, an entrepreneur and ministry leader, have officially launched ARK CLB. The new venture operates across the media investment, acquisition, production, and distribution spectrum, with a mission centered on multicultural faith, family, and inspirational entertainment.

The launch comes at a time when demand for values-driven programming is surging worldwide. Yet ARK CLB’s core thesis is specific: some of the industry’s most culturally influential audiences are still starved for premium faith-centered content that genuinely reflects their lived experiences. The company aims to close that gap.

ARK CLB’s model goes beyond a traditional production company. It spans the full content lifecycle — scouting and acquiring existing films, developing and financing original projects, packaging talent, and forging distribution routes to major streaming and television platforms.
Leading the charge is Maurice, a 15-year industry veteran who has acquired and distributed more than 550 films and generated upwards of $150 million in cumulative licensing revenue on platforms such as Netflix, HBO/Max, Hulu, BET, Starz, Lifetime, and Amazon.

Maurice’s resume includes stints at Fox, eOne, 1091, and Screen Media, where he earned a reputation for spotting independent filmmakers and culturally specific stories with mainstream crossover potential. At eOne, he helped build the company’s Black film vertical, and his subsequent work has centered on bridging independent creators with major buyers.
For Maurice, ARK CLB represents the culmination of a journey that predates his Hollywood career.

Born in Haiti and relocating to the United States as a teenager, Maurice entered the entertainment business with no family connections or inherited roadmap. Navigating a new country, culture, and industry from scratch shaped ARK CLB’s focus on access, trust, and building infrastructure for filmmakers who have historically faced barriers into Hollywood.

"I've spent much of my career sitting between filmmakers and studios, and I've seen extraordinary stories struggle not because the audience wasn't there, but because the infrastructure and advocacy weren't," Maurice said. "ARK is about changing that. We want to combine commercial discipline with purpose, finding stories that can perform in the marketplace while giving audiences something meaningful to carry with them after the credits."

Chaney brings a complementary set of skills, spanning enterprise business, strategic partnerships, and ministry. Before ARK CLB, he worked with Salesforce, BetterUp, and Thrive Global before transitioning into full-time ministry, where he founded and now pastors Activate Church in Alpharetta, Georgia.

That dual expertise is central to ARK CLB’s approach: Maurice offers decades of content acquisition experience, filmmaker relationships, and buyer access, while Chaney contributes enterprise growth knowledge, strategic partnership experience, and an insider’s understanding of the faith audience.
“In today’s information age, families in the faith community are increasingly intentional about what they allow into their homes. Finding entertainment that is both compelling and appropriate for the entire family has become more difficult than ever. But people shouldn’t have to choose between exceptional storytelling and values they can trust. At ARK CLB, we’re committed to filling that void by offering premium entertainment that is inspiring, culturally relevant, and appropriate for the entire family”

ARK CLB’s slate won’t be confined to traditional faith-based fare. The company will emphasize stories rooted in redemption, resilience, family, forgiveness, purpose, and hope — narratives designed to resonate with audiences grounded in Kingdom values.

The company’s operations span acquisitions, financing, production, packaging, and worldwide distribution, partnering with filmmakers throughout the entire content lifecycle while cultivating relationships across theatrical, broadcast, streaming, AVOD, SVOD, and FAST platforms.
Beyond original productions, ARK CLB is actively acquiring completed films and television projects, and expanding relationships with filmmakers seeking strategic distribution and financing partners.

Maurice believes the company’s true competitive edge won’t be its industry experience alone, but the reputation it builds with creators.
"The most valuable asset I've built isn't a catalog of films or licensing deals, it's trust. Trust from filmmakers who believed I'd fight for their stories. Trust from buyers who knew I'd bring them quality content. ARK CLB exists to protect that trust every day. Integrity isn't just good ethics, it's good business, and it's the foundation for every relationship we build."
