Horror films from independent producers have become the fastest-growing revenue category in the U.S. film marketplace. Earlier this year, hit indie releases included Obsession ($263 million at the U.S. box office), Backrooms ($197 million at the U.S. box office), and last weekend's debut of Buddy, which has already surpassed $8 million in the U.S. during its first week of release.

The JOLLY cast includes Eric Parkinson as Santa, Anna Stadler as Lucy, Chris Orozco as Sheriff Roscoe, Clayton Z.
