The young Mexican vocalist, instrumentalist, and accordion player starts a new chapter as an independent artist, honoring her heritage and the depth of Mexican music.
ICCF–— With a vocal delivery that exudes strength, sensitivity, and pride in her background, the singer, musician, and accordionist Irany introduces “Ahora Sí Quieres Querer,” a stirring mariachi piece that honors the richness of Mexican music and the impact of tales that originate from the soul.
Featuring refined production, classic mariachi arrangements, and a deeply heartfelt performance, “Ahora Sí Quieres Querer” addresses the moment when someone tries to return after love has already faded. It is a story centered on dignity, resilience, and self-respect, in which the heart learns that some chances do not come again.
This release serves as a salute to the generations of artists who have turned mariachi into the sound that defines Mexico globally, while simultaneously reinforcing Irany’s dedication to preserving our traditions and bringing them to younger audiences.
Irany’s career has been defined by major stages within regional Mexican music. In 2021 she began a professional journey with Machin Records, a label established by the legendary Pepe Aguilar, where she recorded two albums alongside her brother David Martínez.
She later became part of the well-known “Jaripeo Sin Fronteras” tour, performing both as an opening act and accompanying Ángela Aguilar with her accordion.
Her talent also led her to share the stage with international superstar Karol G as part of the historic global tour “Mañana Será Bonito,” an experience that solidified her reputation as one of the most accomplished young instrumentalists in Latin music.
Now, managed by J & J Music Group, Irany continues to write a fresh chapter in her career as an independent artist, betting on creative freedom, authenticity, and the pride of representing Mexican culture through her music.
With “Ahora Sí Quieres Querer,” Irany once again showcases her artistic range, performing genres such as norteño, cumbia, and now mariachi with equal authenticity, building a musical proposal that respects tradition while looking ahead.
“Ahora Sí Quieres Querer” will be available starting September 4, 2026 on all digital music platforms.
