TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Actor Jeff DuJardin (Elkhorn) is featured in the biographical feature film, SILENT LIFE: The Rudolph Valentino Centennial Final Cut. This movie will be shown exactly a century after the silent cinema legend’s passing at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 10, 2026, as well as at TIFF: The Market, the festival’s new worldwide content marketplace.
DuJardin is part of an impressive ensemble that features Isabella Rossellini, Franco Nero, Terry Moore, Sherilyn Fenn, and Paul Rodriguez. Vladislav Kozlov, who portrays Valentino, also serves as the director of this film exploring Hollywood’s initial major screen sex symbol.
SILENT LIFE blends fiction, documentary, and silent film techniques. Its story begins when a forward-thinking movie director named Paul (DuJardin) attempts to produce a documentary about classic Hollywood. What he discovers is the hidden story of Hollywood’s first male megastar and sex symbol, Rudolph Valentino (Kozlov), along with the enigmatic Lady in Black (Moore), who asserts she was the celebrated actor’s final romantic partner. She reveals to Paul the hardships, victories, and tragic demise of her beloved.
DuJardin had prior collaborations with Sherilyn Fenn, Franco Nero, and director Vladislav Kozlov on the dramatic film Immortalist. His performance in that project earned him the Best Actor award at the 2022 Orlando Film Festival.
Viewers have grown familiar with DuJardin due to his praised portrayal of the primary antagonist, Marquis de Morès, across two seasons of the well-liked western TV series, Elkhorn. The program follows a young Theodore Roosevelt as he travels westward to the North Dakota Badlands, where he crosses paths with the French aristocrat-turned-cowboy Marquis de Mores. The Marquis is striving to achieve the status of the West’s first billionaire through cattle ranching and various other ventures.
In August, Elkhorn ranked as a top-streaming western on Amazon Prime. For his work in Season 2, DuJardin was honored with the Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series award from Cowboys & Indians Magazine. He was also recognized by the popular entertainment site ScreenRant as one of the greatest TV Screen Villains of All Time. DuJardin felt proud to stand for the series at the Western Heritage Awards in Oklahoma City when it was inducted into the 2026 Class of the Cowboy Hall of Fame. He also served as a special guest during the opening of the Teddy Roosevelt Museum in North Dakota.
