Top-Tier Outdoor Projector Comes with 14-Element Glass Lens and Integrated Micro Gimbal Featuring Auto-Setup

BELLEVUE, WA, UNITED STATES, August 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Soundcore, the premium audio and video brand under Anker Innovations, has launched the Nebula X1S, the latest iteration of its backyard projector designed to cater to the most particular users. Responding to consumer feedback, the Nebula X1S expands upon the company’s X1 foundation and delivers a top-tier cinematic experience for those who demand superior resolution, enhanced brightness, vibrant colors, and detailed audio, all while simplifying installation.

Display Technology
Featuring an upgraded triple laser light engine, the X1S increases light output from 3,500 ANSI Lumens (achieved via a three-lamp optical engine) to 6,000 ANSI Lumens (achieved via a four-lamp optical engine) while preserving 4K Ultra HD resolution, offering an unmatched visual experience on screens up to 200 inches, making it ideal for both daytime and nighttime outdoor use. To validate its brightness and color precision, the X1S has also earned ISF display certification.
Using Dolby Vision® technology, the projector enhances overall image quality with deeper depth, improved contrast, and richer colors, retaining maximum detail while minimizing image degradation. Furthermore, the X1S refines the picture through the NebulaMaster™ Image Processing Engine, delivering immersive, natural-looking visuals with accurate colors by employing an RGB laser for brighter, more saturated displays.
Additionally, NebulaMaster™ technology boosts contrast by enhancing details in both bright and dark image areas, yielding a native contrast ratio of 5000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 56,000:1. This is accomplished through an f/2.0 to f/4.5, 6-blade iris while fine-tuning color accuracy to replicate the effect perceived by the human eye.
To ensure the highest quality light path, the X1S projector incorporates a 14-element glass lens array. This not only guarantees the sharpest image but, unlike projectors that use plastic lenses, also prevents yellowing or warping over time, allowing users to enjoy consistent image quality from day one after hundreds or even thousands of movies or TV shows.

Setup
The X1S projector makes auto setup remarkably simple for the end user. Thanks to a built-in micro gimbal, the X1S can be positioned on a projector stand, table, or even the floor, allowing the optical engine and lens array to tilt up to 25 degrees to achieve optimal placement on a screen or wall. Combined with the projector’s optical zoom capabilities, the X1S can project onto a screen up to 200 inches (diagonally) from 13 to 22 feet away. The flexibility of the optical zoom and micro gimbal also enables the projector to be placed significantly closer to the screen than other models, giving consumers a projector that adapts to any room. Moreover, the X1S includes a memory feature that recalls room settings if it is moved.
The X1S offers Soundcore’s A.I. Spatial Adaptation auto setup procedure, which includes real-time autofocus and keystone correction, auto obstacle avoidance, auto screen fit, auto optical zoom, ambient light adaptation, and wall color adaptation, and can be activated with a single button press on the included remote control. It also features an eye guard to protect users’ eyes if someone walks in front of the projector.

Audio Technology
As any movie fan knows, a film is only half complete without a powerful soundtrack. Until now, most portable and semi-portable projectors have provided a subpar audio experience.
On its own, the X1S houses four side-firing internal speakers (two 15W and two 5W tweeters, plus two passive radiators) that deliver an audio experience significantly more powerful than other projectors of this size.
However, Soundcore’s engineers wanted to offer users an easy-to-use solution for an even more powerful, upgraded audio experience. Sold separately or as part of a bundle, consumers can purchase two lossless Wi-Fi satellite speakers, each containing four drivers – two front drivers with a 40W amplifier, as well as an upward-firing and side-firing driver – each powered by 20W, giving users a powerful 160W immersive audio experience that adds both width and height to a movie or TV show. Each wireless speaker provides up to 8 hours of battery life and can be recharged via USB-C. Additionally, they are rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, ensuring that even a rain shower won’t damage the speakers.
To provide an even fuller audio experience, when using the optional wireless speakers, the audio drivers inside the X1S automatically convert to act as a subwoofer – delivering additional bass while creating a 4.1.2 audio experience, ensuring users can feel every explosion on screen.

Additional Features
Given such a powerful and bright projector, the Nebula X1S needed to address the potential noise from fans cooling internal components. To achieve this, the X1S uses an internal liquid cooling system, which, together with a single large fan at the rear, improves heat dissipation by 15 percent while requiring a footprint 30 percent smaller than similar projectors that rely solely on fans. Moreover, this cooling system generates only 28 dB of noise (at 1 meter), equivalent to a whisper.
The X1S runs on the Google TV™ platform with built-in Netflix integration, allowing users to enjoy 700,000+ movies and TV episodes, live TV, and more across 10,000+ apps. However, for those who want to connect a gaming system or Blu-Ray player, the X1S offers two HDMI ports on the rear, including one with eARC compatibility.
The X1S is also compatible with SpaceFlow, Soundcore’s immersive 3D AI projection mapping system that lets users explore and create unique videos, turning a home’s exterior into something cinematic, expressive, and unforgettable by using generative video creation, thanks to Google’s Veo platform and a user’s imagination.

Pricing & Availability
The Nebula X1S is available for purchase starting today on Soundcore.com and Amazon.com starting at $3,299 and available in two different bundles. The first bundle includes a pair of Wireless Satellite Speakers and is priced at $3,998, while a second bundle adds a 100-inch screen for $4,167. However, from August 26th through September 20th, these will be offered at a discount: $2,499 for the projector alone, $2,799 for the projector and a pair of speakers, or $2,899 when adding the 100-inch screen.
Additionally, limited quantities of optional accessories are available for separate purchase, including a pair of wireless microphones for the ultimate backyard karaoke party, as well as a padded case for storing the projector, wireless speakers, and power cords.
