The streaming landscape is about to get a jolt from an unexpected source: an independent platform betting entirely on artificial intelligence. MyTi Films, a New Jersey-based streaming service for original AI-generated series and films, has announced that its first title, Medusa, will premiere on November 20, 2026. However, viewers who sign up for the platform’s free membership will get a head start, watching the series a full week earlier on November 13.

The Medusa premiere represents the inaugural release in MyTi Films’ ambitious plan to roll out eight titles over an eight-month period. The lineup is designed to span a broad range of genres, including reimagined Greek legends, detective thrillers, and Hindi-language stories inspired by ancient tales. The platform itself launched in October 2026 and is accessible at https://MyTiFilms.com.

What sets MyTi Films apart from other streaming newcomers is its strategy of building a catalog around an exclusive license to adapt the River Comics universe, a comic-book library that contains more than 30 original titles. The company’s model fuses AI-assisted production with its own streaming destination and a licensed library of stories ready for future adaptation, creating a self-contained pipeline for content creation and distribution.

“AI didn’t just lower the cost of making films, it broke the assumption that you need a studio to run a slate. We’re building a platform around a pipeline of stories and giving viewers a place to watch the work,” said Jai Thakar, producer of MyTi Films.

In a move aimed at building trust with audiences, MyTi Films says it labels its AI-generated content on posters and films, making transparency a visible part of the brand. The company is targeting AI-curious viewers and fans of science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, mythology, and international storytelling, offering them a single destination for full-length AI-generated entertainment.

The platform is free to watch, with free members receiving early access to each premiere seven days before its public release. Following Medusa, the next announced title is Master Holmes, scheduled for December 20, 2026.

Why it matters: MyTi Films is testing whether AI-generated content can build a loyal audience on a free, ad-supported model, challenging the traditional studio system. If its eight-title slate succeeds, it could signal a shift toward independent AI-driven studios bypassing Hollywood gatekeepers entirely.
