Two festival nominations, a Big Apple screenplay quarterfinalist placement and a w3 Silver Award mark the next stage of TEMPTATIONS™ film development.
Fatima Aisha, a U.S. Air Force veteran and the creative force behind the TEMPTATIONS™ universe, has landed multiple 2026 recognitions for both her feature film project and its companion digital content series. The announcements signal growing momentum for a franchise that began as a book series and is now expanding into screen storytelling.

At the heart of TEMPTATIONS™ lies a grounded ensemble family drama. The story follows Raheim, a nineteen-year-old struggling to step up as the man of the house after his father’s death. As he tries to control the people around him, his brother’s dangerous secret, his girlfriend’s betrayal, and his mother’s buried past all close in on the family.
“TEMPTATIONS™ was never just about one story. It’s about the choices we make, the families we come from, and the things we carry from one generation to the next. Every character has a story worth telling, and I’m building a universe where those stories can continue,” said Fatima Aisha, founder of Levels & Volumes Entertainment LLC.
The TEMPTATIONS™ universe already includes four published books:
- TEMPTATIONS™: Raheim Part I: The Book of Raheim
- TEMPTATIONS™: Raheim Part II: What Denise Did
- TEMPTATIONS™: Malik’s Moves: Book 3 of the TEMPTATIONS™ Universe
- Before She Was Mama: A TEMPTATIONS™ Prequel
The original three-book series is complemented by the separately published prequel. Audio storytelling versions are available through Spotify and YouTube, alongside digital storytelling content.
According to the announcement, the feature screenplay’s copyright registration application was filed with the U.S. Copyright Office on October 22, 2026. The registration is currently pending.
A planned short film titled KNUCKLES, a TEMPTATIONS™ Story is intended to serve as a proof of concept for the feature. It has been submitted to the Shore Scripts Fall 2026 Short Film Fund, though the short has not yet entered production.
TEMPTATIONS™ is developed by Levels & Volumes Entertainment LLC, a Texas-based independent entertainment company working across publishing, audio storytelling, digital media, film, and television. The company says it welcomes conversations with producers, production companies, and creative partners.
Why it matters: Aisha’s multi-platform approach — weaving books, audio, digital content, and now festival-recognized screen projects — shows how independent creators can build a franchise from the ground up without a traditional studio deal. Her Air Force background and the series’ focus on generational family drama also highlight a growing diversity of voices in independent filmmaking.
